 Die So Fluid have announced that they will no longer be heading to the US later this month for their planned US Tour, citing that they are in the process of rescheduling to play larger venues as "demand to see the band is a bit broader than we expected".
The band have revealed that they are instead going to be working on material for their third album, and have confirmed a a working title of 'The World Is Too Big For One Lifetime'.
Guitarist Mr Drew commented that "Gather round rock kids and I will divulge the hair raising tale of the disappearing band. Well I'm sure that's what some of you are thinking, who were expecting us to turn up on your American doorsteps this month. We did have some shows booked, and a big thank you goes to Concerts West for organizing them, but we were forced to cancel as demand to see the band is a bit broader than we expected.
"And so on the advice of our new plugger, Adam at Planetary and industry insiders such as CMJ, we're now holding out for a bigger tour that would get us in front of a few more people. I hope we can announce what that tour will be within the next month.
"Mindful that our latest album arrived nearly four years after our debut we've been spending our time writing and demoing new material for the next album which goes under the working title of 'The World is too big for one lifetime'.
"We play one festival in Portugal next month, which was the only one we could squeeze in at such short notice, as we thought we'd be in the U.S.
"These tour rescheduling antics should not affect our planned expedition to Japan, in the new year, which will take in 8 major cities over 12 days. And finally we just shot some additional footage for the Test Confessional video which I hope to marry to the western footage we already have. Expect a completed edit online by mid August."
