Warbringer - War Without End

Ok now we're cooking with gas! Los Angeles thrashers Warbringer are about to unleash their debut album onto an unsuspecting world, and 'War Without End' may well be about to blow more than a few minds. The first thing that hits you when this record starts to spin is the brutality of it, it pulls no punches. The second thing that hits you is that awesome guitar work going on by both John Laux and Adam Carroll, this thing is full of guitar licks that are gonna blow your mind, and solos that just demand to be moshed like a bastard to.
This CD feels like what's been missing for the best part of twenty years. Confused? Well let me enlighten you. Take a trip back to 1990, and a certain album called Seasons in the Abyss. Not my favorite Slayer album, and the start of a downward spiral, but this is the album that you want to follow that with. This reeks of everything that was great about Slayer, but remade for a new generation, and one day, we might well be talking about Warbringer being the band that dethroned the legend.
John Kevill screams, sings, shouts, growls, and god knows what else, add the entire time you'll be right there with him. Awesome, awesome stuff.
If you buy one thrash album this year, this is the one.
Lineup:
John Kevill - Vocals John Laux - Guitars Andy Laux - Bass Ryan Bates - Drums Adam Carroll - Guitars
