Some people might describe it as inoffensive, while others might say it's simplistic, others might even shake their heads and say how commercial it sounds. All of these might be true, but the shame of the situation is that they'd be answering the wrong question.
With their debut album 'Longest Journey', Brighton based rockers 'Two Choices' have created a happy go lucky blend of pop rock the likes of which we normally tend to associate with American bands with big smiles, and much pogo'ing on the spot. You know, the likes of New Found Glory and Bowling For Soup, and this actually does a really good job of standing up shoulder to shoulder with their more experienced American cousins. No, it might not be that good just yet, but this is an exhausting debut of high energy, high infectious hooks and happy go lucky album that reeks of a band having a good time.
Even with 13 tracks, this one is over before it's even seemingly started, and with only seven tracks that's understandable, but 'Longest Journey' drags you along with it, and you almost lose yourself in it.
Great sample of a great up and coming band, and one that you might well be hearing a lot more about over the coming weeks and months.
