So why? Vocally these boys really sound like the old school 60's rock n roll sound that Setzer has made his own over recent years, while drawing a more upbeat sense of sleazy goodness that Tyla and the Dogs were, and still are for that matter, famous for.
And how does it shape up I hear you asking? Well interesting is certainly a good word for it, and it certainly shows signs that these boys may well have a future. The production does leave something to be desired, but as I'm not entirely sure whether this is officially an EP or more a demo, we can let that slide a little. The fusion between blues and punk is certainly an interesting one, and it's certainly not a failure here.
Let's see how these Brighton boys develop over the next year or so, and see what they bring to the table then, but for now we've got a good glimpse of where they're heading to, and it sounds pretty decent, and with time and a bit more money spent on the production, we'll no doubt be talking some more...
