Self Release
Reinventing The Sun is the new album from Connecticut rockers The Limit, a band that have toured with the likes of Steve Vai and Disturbed.

The thing is, I don't even really get what they're trying to sound like, or who they want to be. The album's got a very melodic rock feel to it, in the vein of perhaps Toto, but what this doesn't have is anything to strike it apart from many a similar record that is released every year. The whole album sounds flat, and after several listens, it's actually hard to recall many details about the songs that have been played, other than the fact they all seem to become one continuous wall of uninspiring, but not annoying sound. There's nothing to even get annoyed about. The productions adequate, the vocals passable, musically it's ok. It's just... well dull. Vocalist Mark Daniel just seems to fail add any emotion into any of the tracks on the album, he fails to make me believe him, he fails to make me care.

It's a shame, but sometimes what can you do?

Lineup:

Mark Daniel - Vocals & Guitar
Bob Chimiel - Drums
Todd Grosberg - Bass
