Title

Constants In An Ever Changing Universe
Hailing from the Swedish Industrial center of Borlange, Stonewall Noise Orchestra are going to be a new commodity on the UK's rock scene with the launch of 'Constants In An Ever Changing Universe', the bands second album, but set to be their debut on UK soil.
The band cite influences from Black Sabbath to Led Zeppelin, Tool to Beatles, a mighty concoction of big names, big hitters, legends in each of their own fields. Big noise to talk, can they deliver? Can they match the magesty of Sabbath, the magic of Zep, the confusion of Tool and the psychedelia of the Beatles? Oh, but isn't that the question on everyone lips? Isn't that the key to this little puzzle.

The answer is of course no, but that's no coming as a surprise right? Ok that's that out of the way anyway.

What we do have here is a melting pot of different ideas, coming together to form this one blizzard of 70's ideas. The Tool link is possibly the most tenuous of those listed above, the one that is easiest to dismiss. SNO certainly have a concocted a very epic feel to the music they present here, and certainly you can hear the Zep coming through, can almost here some twinges of the Sabs, but in the end what we are left with is a band that don't seem to yet, on record at least, have found out exactly where they want to be.

It's a solid album for the 70's metal fans out there, and if you're one of those give this one a spin. If you think that that kind of thing should really be left for posterity than you're not going to hear anything you're going to jump at here.

Solid, but unexceptional is really all that's left.
