Although Smudge claim to be blazing a trail through the underground rock scene with thier anthemic punk / indie / dance / altrock sound, their 3 track EP certainly doesnt lead me to believe they have blazed any trail in any rock scene.

I think the Indie scene is what they should aim for and stick to, perhaps they younger generation should be their target audience. 

You can just about tap your feet to it, but frankly, you will find Indie Bands this good living on your own estate.
