Before I continue.
It is time for a little note here as I am only able to listen to the
promotion copy which is not including any demos or unreleased material
(where 13 of them already released on the 'Greatest Hits' in 2000).
The final release comes in two different formats, the Limited Edition Digipak coming with a second bonus disc containing all the demos and unreleased material.
I will not go into any deep review on each track, there's plenty of reviews
available on each album the tracks were originally released on, as well
as some reviews on the tracks themselves.
What I do want though is a discussion here on KomodoRock.com in the forum,
where YOU who bought the album (once it's released) share your thoughs about
the album and the tracks included. Especially the second CD which includes
all the demos and the previously unreleased material.
So what do I get for the money if I buy this album?
At least when it comes to the 17 tracks on the promotion CD, pure
Queensrÿche quality from the first to last second of it. The choise of tracks
in the mix is perfect. Who ever mixed this album, Thank you!!

It is just brilliant. Now I want to hear the second CD as well!!
And I will be able to soon as I've already ordered the 2 CD release.

With that in mind, do I need one more "Greatest Hits"?
Let us first focus on what this album has to offer regarding the tracks,
Track 1 to 17, as a production in a whole is a great mixing.
I even get a feeling of a journey...
" I listen to the story about the 'Queen of the reich', I get a 'Warning',
As I take a 'Walk in the shadows' and 'Take hold of the flame' I hear of
'The lady (who) wore black' 'I don't believe in love' as I look into the
'Eyes of the stranger', Things gets clearer in a 'Silent lucidity' as
I walk across the 'Bridge' and meet the 'Jet city woman' and later on
finds it is just 'Another rainy night (Without you), is this the
'Sign of the times'? All I know is 'I am I' in the 'Real world'.
'Some people fly' but ' Until there was you' I only had heard of
'All the promises' "
Now that may make it all sound very weired right?
This is just my reflection on the 17 tracks available at the time of writing
+ after I listened to the album the 2nd time or so..

Now to the question I guess you may have.
Do I recommend you to buy yet another QR Compilation?
Short answer is. YES!
And not only because of the demo versions or the unreleased material included
on CD 2 (If you buy the 2-CD version).
All in all: 10/10 (If only thinking of this as a Queensrÿche "Best of" album)
If I only think of this as another CD released in 2007 it scores a 9/10.
To conclude this journey:
Compilation:
Promo contained 17 tracks (CD1),
and CD 2 will include unreleased material as well a demos (15 tracks).
Lyrics are of course pure Queensrÿche quality so is the track order.
