From opening till end, Panzer Princess' Legacy of Ignorance carries the bands Hanoi Rocks inspiration proudly on it's sleeve. That's not to say that they're trying to be Hanoi, but neither are they scared to say, "Yeah, they influence us". So now you already know that this EP has a very punky glam feel to it, rather than a more pop rock feel. I like that, and it really seems to work well for these Swedish Boys.
Concentrating on an easy flowing vocal and a a guitar that leads you strutting down the street, Panzer Princess are setting out their stall for a full album of Sleazy Punky Glam Goodness which most surely can not be far down the line. 'Bumville Judge' is almost hypnotic in it's chorus, complete with a harmonica solo! It's like Mike Monroe had learned harmonica instead of Sax!
If this EP says anything about where Panzer Princess are going, then rest assured that we can expect to add another Swedish Band to our list of top up and coming bands.
