NFD, London's goth rockers return who feature two former members of the Fields of the Nephilim in their motley crew are back with the first single from the bands upcoming third album 'Deeper Visions' which is due in April.
When The Sun Dies certainly harkens back to the good old days of the Fields of the Nephilim, but this is actually pretty damn good, and if the rest of the upcoming album is anything like this, then the band are looking to broaden their horizons a little. While this is still going to appeal to the goth crowd simply because of who it is, this has a lot more in common with the more melodic phase that Paradise Lost have been through over recent years. It's heavy, dark, gloomy, and all in all pretty damn fine.
Why the DJ remix though? Why, why, why? Either your a rock band or your not. Rock bands don't need electro DJ mixes. Rock fans want rock songs, and to be honest, why would you want this 'Extreme Beat Mix' being played anywhere after putting together a kickass single on it's own? Hmmmm...
