Ten Arrogant Stories
Lock up your daughters gentlemen, because Italy's Motorcity Brags are coming storming through town for a final showdown in the bedroom. This is no frills, punk fueled rock n roll. It takes no prisoners, makes no excuses, doesn't care what you think, but is out to kick your ass.
Rhetoric aside, 'Ten Arrogant Tales' really has a lot going for it. It really is no frills punk fuelled destruction, coming from two guys that spent the best part of a year touring with Adam Bomb (Drummer Marco Da Vinci and Bass/Vocalist Paul Del Bello). At times it's pure genius, at times it falls flat on it's face, but that's the beauty of music like this. When it falls, it bounces straight back in your face, and it's back on the ball.
While we could dwell on some limits on the production side of things (and yes, this could have been even better with better production) we don't really need to, because it does the job.
Take the albums real highlight 'We Are A Dirty Rock n Roll Band' for example, and you'll see what this is all about. It kinda tells it just like it is, and does it with a punky rock n roll sound that someone like Hanoi Rocks wouldn't feel out of place playing.
"We smoke, we drink, we fuck". That's sleazy rock n roll for you!
