Editor review

Before getting to the actuall review of this great album, I'd like to point out that

there's a lot of reviews found via google.com. But I wanted to make this my own as most

of the found reviews are more or less a copy of the others found.

I don't know much about Marco Mendoza but I know he is one of the best bass guitar players

I've ever heard, but as it also turned out to be, he is also a great singer.

Marco Mendoza's debute solo album "Live for tomorrow" due to be released worldwide on July 6.

IMO a well produced 12 track album, lyrics are also very good and I am sure you will enjoy

the album as much as I do. And with such great special guests on the album as Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), Ted Nugent and Steve Lukather (Toto) who all offer guitar solos appearances. Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake) and Brian Tichy (Pride and glory, Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner and Billy Idol) play drums while Richie Kotzen handles the bulk of guitars and duets on vocals with Marco on "I want you".

As the other reviews says..

"Sit back, light a cigar, relax, put the stereo on and enjoy the ride that this musical master can offer!"

I couldn't agree more my self...

Track 1 not being the best track on album but after I had heard it a few times it sounded a lot better. Track 2, titel track surprised me the first time I heard it, it sounded great directly, lyrics are very good as well in my opinion. Track 3, love the music and vocals, good lyrics. Track 4 (good scream in the beginning), lovely tune, a must listen to! Track 5, great lyrics, as well as music. Track 6, and the story continues, just lovely!

I will stop here with listing the tracks as the rest will be more or less the same anyway, when it comes to rating them.

Ok track 11 and 12 are slowing down a bit to complete this masterpiece, lyrics as well as music wise the two last tracks fits perfectly to end the album.

So do I like/love what I hear? YES!! I sure do. Why? Well to try keep the answer short, it is just simply great!!

Rating of the album?

A bit tricky but I could have set it to 9/10 even if it is close to that I will limit it to 8/10.

And why you might ask?, lyrics, production, performance scores all a safe 8+ here.

Album cover scores a 8 and that only based on the symbolism the image vs. album title gave me.

Am I missing anything on this album? No, I can't say I do since this is the first time I hear Marco Mendoza sing, and he does it very well, lyrics as well as music is great.

But to be honest about the 8 out of 10, I started to want more (in a good way), I so want to hear a followup to this album very soon. And if I do, well who knows, it may push it to a 9/10 as well :-)

Hope you will enjoy this as much as I do!!
