Rome's Knyght kick out with their latest demo recording 'Destination Unknown', trying to work the glam/arena rock sound, but it's sad to say that at this point in time they just haven't managed to get it right.
The band have been together for a little over four years now, and still not being out of their teens certainly gives them time to improve, but as it stands this is very sub par. It's true that they are attempting to draw influence from a lot of the arena rock bands of yesteryear, yet each of the five songs on this demo sound like they've just been thrown together, with none of the parts seeming to fit together properly. The vocals sit right at the top of the mix, failing to convey anything at all other than a limited range, and annoying to boot!

The potential might be there, but that's really all it is right now. Ballad 'The Believer' sounds like it was recorded by the Corrs when they were so trashed they couldn't even see the instruments they were playing.

It's harsh I know, but what can you do?
