Title

Broken
“Self medication what a sensation, intravenous pollution seems a solution” …. With lyrics that make sense and solid rock and roll that will puke on your cowboy boots coupled with a punk bite Imperial Vipers introduce their second studio album ‘Broken’ to the world.

These lads from Dunstable have gone for broke on this album and have cleverly created a record that has something for everyone – grunge sounding ‘Broken’, punk sounding ‘I’ll guess’ are thrown into a mix of phenomenal song writing from Wevs, lead guitarist and founder of Imperial Vipers.

You might be mistaken in thinking that you’re hearing tracks of love affairs gone wrong but the art work is testament to the fact that these boys are telling you all about a country that is falling apart around us, drugs that are killing us and what’s more, their social conscience is made increasingly aware with Ash Simmons grungy, thick accented voice – stand up all the government officials and take fucking note – Imperial Vipers have made their music tell a story and I don’t think it should be ignored.

I’ve often wondered about an album that can have everything – catchy riffs, beating bass lines, hard hitting drumming and awesomely executed vocals and thought that they are very few and far between. This album not only has all this but it also contains some incredible tempo changes, catchy assed songs that will be bashing around your brain for weeks and its got heart and soul …. Full on rock and roll!
