If you are about to record an album, with the plan to
sell good. Listen to this album and you have the recipe for
selling your album to fans of melodic rock.
It is good melodic rock with lyrics that reminds me of the 80's.
And there's definitely nothing wrong with that, on the contrary.
It Rocks!
First track which is an intro, I first thought I were about
to hear something gothic but ended up with
a very nice drumbeat, keyboard, guitar and bass coloring my speakers
with great art as a result, and with Thomas vocals added to that and
I knew I was about to take on a journey in good company with a band I had
never heard before. As with Human Zoo's first album release
"Precious Times" released last year. This album is also produced
by 'PINK CREAM 69's' Dennis Ward.
"Over the horizon" is Human Zoo's first release on the AOR Heaven label.
The band:
Thomas Seeburger - vocals
Ingolf Engler - lead & rhythm guitar/backing vocals
Markus Ratheiser - bass/backing vocals
Zarko Mestrovic - keyboards/backing vocals
Tommy Strobel - drums/backing vocals
All in all impression of this album: 8/10
I highly recommend this album to all fans
of Hard Rock and Melodic Rock. I am one of
many who will end up with this in my CD
collection!
If anyone from from the band or management
team reads this. Please add an English
version of the band website. I am sure more
fans of the band and their music wants to
know more about the band.
Thanks in advance!
Play it loud!!
