Shove It Up Your Azz

When it comes to Swedish sleaze bands you kind of know what you're going to get when you fire the disc up. You know roughly how it's going to sound, you know they're going to be somewhat accomplished musicians, it all goes with the territory. The real question you ask yourself is how it will compare to the really good stuff out there.

Sweden is the new home of sleaze, so how do Danger stack up?

'Shove it up your Azz' certainly shows off a band that yes, can play, yes know what they want, and yes aren't too bad at all. Danger follow the more traditional lines of bands like LA Guns, Ratt, and even tasters of Faster Pussycat in there as well, rather than the more typical punky influenced bands like Crashdiet and Hardcore Superstar that perhaps we have become used to.

For a demo, the production here is not bad at all, it all comes together quiet nicely. Vocalist Jesse Kid sounds comfortable, and certainly has a vocal likeness to that of Stephen Pearcy, and that links in with some great guitar work from Rob Paris.

This is a young bad that actually has a sound that can carry them forward, they have a sound influenced by some of the 80's strip, but that's just what it is, and influence. They're forging ahead, trying to find their own style, and no they're not the next Crashdiet... but they might just be the first Danger.
