Finland's biggest heavy metal band. 'Teräsbetoni', will represent Finland at this year's Eurovision at Belgrade, Serbia on 24th May. This is the second time since 2006 since a heavy metal band has represented Finland at Eurovision ('Lordi' won Eurovision for Finland in 2006). Teräsbetoni will perform the hit single ‘Missä Miehet Ratsastaa' (aka ‘Where All The Men Ride Forth'), taken from their No.1 best-selling album ‘Myrskyntuoja'.
Meanwhile, J. Ahola, The lead singer of Teräsbetoni, is prepping for the UK June 16th release of the album 'Reborn'; by 'Northern Kings', a Finnish symphonic rock operatic supergroup comprising four of Finland's premiere heavy metal vocalists. Already certified gold in Finland,'Reborn', is being perceived as heavy metal's answer to operatic vocal groups like Il Divo and the 3 Tenors. Originally named 'Hell Divo', Northern Kings recorded versions of their favorite songs from the 80s and early 90's, in a symphonic rock style with orchestral arrangements, including Radiohead's 'Creep' and David Bowie's 'Ashes To Ashes'.
