airbourneAussie rogues Airbourne reluctantly have to announce that their intended February UK headline tour has been delayed due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict. Originally at the start of a full European tour, the UK dates will move to the end, and kick off in the UK instead now from March 29. This now means that the UK fans will have a chance to hear the album well before the band hits the stage in the UK.

All tickets bought for the original No Guts, No Glory dates remain valid. Revised list of dates is as follows:

Mon 29 Mar - Portsmouth Guildhall

Tue 30 Mar - Bristol Colston Hall

Thu 1 Apr - London Hammersmith Apollo

Fri 2 Apr - Liverpool O2 Academy

Sat 3 Apr - Manchester Apollo

Mon 5 Apr - Edinburgh Picture House

Tue 6 Apr - Glasgow O2 Academy

Wed 7 Apr - Leeds O2 Academy

Thu 8 Apr - Newcastle O2 Academy

Sat 10 Apr - Wolverhampton Civic Hall

Sun 11 Apr - Nottingham Rock City

Tue 13 Apr - Belfast Mandela Hall

Wed 14 Apr - Dublin Academy

Tickets are on sale now priced £15 regionally, £17 London, and € 19.50 for Dublin (subject to a booking fee) and are available from all usual box offices and online at www.livenation.co.uk. There is also a 24hr credit card hotline on 0844 576 5483. All dates are all ages though under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult.

The band’s second album No Guts, No Glory is due for release on February 22. It was written in a disused Antipodean pub where all the band used to work, the venue of the very first Airbourne live show. Recording took place in Chicago with Johnny K at the production helm and the result is currently being mixed by Mike Fraser at Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. When asked what the record is about, Joel O’Keefe, the band’s gregarious frontman, laughs. “It’s about rock ‘n’ roll, women, fighting, and drinking!”
