There are gonna be a few changes round here at Komodo Castle, we're getting the decorators in... We know we have many, many loyal readers who love their Rock music and support their favourite bands, so being that we are really quite friendly souls we thought we'd let you know a bit in advance. Don't worry, the look of the place won't change much, a lick of paint here and there, you'll still be able to find your favourite bits!
We will streamline things to make it a bit easier to use, move bits that are not so popular and save them for special occasions... just a bit of housekeeping. The most popular aspects without a doubt are the live reviews and band interviews, closely followed by reviews of the latest CD's, and of course current news. Quite a few of you will have noticed that at times we get bogged down, and at other times things are a bit sparse. At present that's because we have a loyal team who slog away to bring you cool stuff to read – but they are sadly only human and there's a lot of good music out there!
So we thought we'd run this by you.... It's a call to arms really. Do we want Komodo Rock to be the biggest and best Rock magazine in the world – ever? YES! Then Komodo Rock needs YOU!
Ever gone to a gig and wished you could be the guy taking pictures or writing a review? Ever heard a new CD so mind-blowing you wanted to scream but had nowhere to point your voice? Well, here at Komodo we want to hear from every one of you who has seen a great gig, heard a great CD, got a mate in a band who told you tour news before the press release went out... everyone.
Simply put, write your review as soon as you can after the gig with your own personal point of view into a text document, Word or ODT is fine. Add a photo if you've got one, setlist if you were sneaky enough to nab it, and send the whole lot to us in an email to

. Make sure to tell us all your contact details, and give us your mate's name if they took the pic. Don't worry if your English isn't great, or if your full stops go in the wrong places. That's what editors are for! We'll sort it – and publish it!
Heard a great CD? Or a dire one? Heard one that's nothing much but grown on you over the last couple of weeks because it's in the car CD player and you can't be arsed to change it? Tell us about it. Score marks out of 5 for content, production quality, lyrics and artwork – and an overall out of 5 score. If you can, add the band name, full album title, and record company. Email it to

Somewhere in there tell us a bit about yourself if you have done any work before, then we can go and have a look. Any personal information you give us will not be divulged to any third parties.
Right now, as these changes are taking place and you guys all become more involved in shaping your site there's not much money going on but full credit for your work and maybe free tickets for gigs later. It's a chance to get your name out there with the very best in Rock and Metal! Get scribbling!
