icmp-paulkirkhamThe Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), one of Europe’s leading centres of contemporary music education based in London, has announced that following another year of exceptional growth, they have secured further premises which will significantly increase performance space by over 25% during the summer of 2009.

In addition, a significant number of staff are being recruited and sizable funds are being reinvested in an upgrade of all facilities.  ICMP’s continued investment in higher standards of quality will enable them to offer their students more soundproofed performance and practice space with recording studio, state of the art technology and enhanced teaching facilities.

Paul Kirkham, Managing Director at the ICMP, had this to say: "Against a backdrop of the current economic problems, we are very proud to be able to say that the ICMP has doubled in size in the last three years and is continuing to maintain this momentum by further investing in our facilities, infrastructure and course provision. We believe we offer some of the best teaching in a fantastic learning environment for aspiring musicians and creative artists and we are committed to continually improving this provision.

"Our announcement in expanding our facilities again this summer will see our available teaching and learning space increase by over 25%, and in addition we will be further investing in state of the art equipment, recruiting new staff and continuing to develop our existing teams to enhance the support provided to our students."
