Starpulse reports Alice Cooper has no words of wisdom for troubled stars Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty, because they have to "hit rock bottom" before they will allow anyone to help them. The 60-year-old star is famed for living the wild rock 'n' roll lifestyle during his youth, but has since kicked his drug and alcohol habit.
And he believes other substance abusers can only seek help once they've reached their drug limit.
He says, "Some people are bent on destroying themselves and you can't talk them out of it. You have to reach rock bottom first."
Both Winehouse and Doherty have spent time in rehab this year, and they have also recently been in trouble with the law over drug offenses.
Alice Cooper is currently on tour in the UK with Joan Jett and Motorhead.
