 Jyrki69, frontman of Finnish rockers the 69 Eyes has confirmed that he has been working on writing for the bands upcoming album.
Jyrki commented "Long
time no see but it's about the fucking time, huh?! I've been trying to
concentrate on writing the next album with our guitarist Bazie all this
year by far...
"For my some sort of surprise the lyrics have been coming out pretty bloody and vampiric. If it's going to be a theme album, it's hard to say by now but it's gonna be Helsinki vampire rock'n'roll for sure!..
"Maybe due to this I've been recently watching Jean Rollin's 70's French vampire movies - beautiful pop art!
"The
new 69 Eyes album will come out early next year. Before we will release
a cool 3cd & dvd box set for Halloween 2008 - more about this later...
