Finnish monster-rockers Lordi are poised
to strike with their fourth studio album, Deadache, on October 28th,
2008 in the US. The video for the album's lead single, "Bite It Like A
Bulldog," is dark in imagery and "sure to grab the attention of rock and
horror fans worldwide!".
Deadache will be released in over 30
countries, including all of Europe, the US, and Japan. The band is
kicking off a US tour following the release of the album, in early
November 2008. A series of special events in New York City will kick
off this run – look out for further info on these developments to be
announced on or around 10/20!
LORDI's previous studio album,
The Arockalypse, has sold over 350,000 copies worldwide. The album has
been released in over 30 countries, including the US and Japan and the
album has been certified over triple platinum in the band's home
country of Finland, gold in Germany and Sweden. The single "Hard Rock
Hallelujah" has also achieved gold status in Germany.
