Brazilian vocalist Edu Falaschi has been busy working on new songs for his band Almah this month, and brand new album “Fragile Equality” is all set to be released through AFM on October 20th, but some confusion has arisen recently as to the current situation with his old band Angra which it was initially thought had disbanded. This is not the case it has been revealed.
Says Edu: "I must clarify a big misunderstanding that is going on with the Almah promotion unfortunately. Although I am fully concentrated on the release of “Fragile Equality” and its consequent promotion at this moment, I never said, "Angra has been terminated". These are not my words whatsoever! Angra is not done; we're taking a break, a pause. The band is going through some difficult management issues, and all of us are doing our best to get back on the road. We don't know when it will be possible, but we hope to announce some good news soon. Almah is no longer a solo project, it's a full time band, but it doesn't mean that Felipe or myself have left Angra, nor that that band is over."
"Almah today features both Falaschi and current Angra member Felipe Andreoli – quite a change from the line up on the debut album, which featured members of both Nightwish and Kamelot – but there’s one very good reason for this. Edu is very much dedicated to touring with Almah as well as writing within a full time line up, and this could only happen now with dedicated musicians who are on call for the band and in the home country." a press release added.
Recording has been taking place at the singer’s home studio and the track listing for the album is as follows
1. Birds Of Prey
2. Beyond Tomorrow
3. Magic Flame
4. All I Am
5. You’ll Understand
6. Invisible Cage
7. Fragile Equality
8. Torn
9. Shade Of My Soul
10. Meaningless World
