authentics.jpgLeicester rockers The Authentics have released the following update: "A massive massive thanks to all the friends, fans and people that showed up at the band's final show of the year at DeMontfort University on Halloween Night.

 "It was a spectacular goodbye to Dave and the "Dave" masks went down a storm, as did everyone else who came down in fancy dress. Please see photos on myspace courtesy of Stephen Lynch and the night itself was preceded by an interview with the band on local student radio station DeMON FM. "The new 5 track CD has a launch date pencilled in for January 2008 and The Authentics are in discussions to launch the CD and new video on the same night in Leicester City Centre. Currently being recorded at Deadline Studios (photo below) please stay in touch through the bands Facebook and Myspace accounts to find the latest news on the new confirmed launch date & track listing."
