primodial-imramaFollowing on from a hectic touring schedule in 2008 which saw Primordial play concerts and festivals across Europe in support of their 2007 album To The Nameless Dead.

And now the band are looking ahead to 2009.

The Pagan metallers have lots of plans for the new year including a tour through North America and the writing of a new album. Apart from that the band will reissue it's catalogue during the year. All reissues will be released in high quality packaging including bonus material.

The reissue series starts with Primordial's debut album Imrama. Recorded in late 1994, it was originally released by Cacophonous Records in the autumn of 1995, already displaying the band's sense for overwhelming melodies, epic drama and total commitment, wrapped in a raw sound with a much stronger black metal influence than the band shows nowadays.

The reissue comes as a double CD including the remastered album plus unreleased demos and live recordings, packaged in a precious black linen slipcase with glossy golden hot foil print, containing a six-page digipak with the original artwork, the two CDs and a 16-page booklet with new liner notes and additional photos. Mandatory for any self-respecting heathen!

Tracklisting: 'Fuil Arsa', 'Infernal Summer', 'Here I Am King', 'The Darkest Flame', 'The Fires...', 'Mealltach', 'Let The Sun Set On Life Forever', 'To The Ends Of The Earth', 'Beneath A Bronze Sky', 'Awaiting The Dawn'.

Bonus Disc: Demo 93/Dark Romanticism - 'To Enter Pagan', 'The Darkest Flame', 'Among The Lazarae', 'To The Ends Of The Earth'; Live Dublin 1993 - 'In Graciousness', 'A Blacker Art'.

The Imrama reissue will be released March 13th (Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Italy), March 6th (rest of Europe).
