For fans of the Bulletboys it's been fourteen years since the band released their last studio album. In the years since the release of Acid Monkey in 1995 – an album which the band accept was not as commercialy successful as their previous releases – a full original lineup took place, a Greatest Hits album, and not forgetting 2007's live album 'Behind The Orange Curtain'.
Despite all of that however, no new studio album has appeared despite numerous tours, both in America and Europe. That is until now.
The bands record label Chavis Records have confirmed that the finishing touches have now been applied to what will be the bands fifth album, set to be titled '10c Billionaire'.
The album itself has been entirely written by frontman Marq Torrien, an album which is being touted as both “sonically superb” and “relevant”.
The band have also announced plans to take to the road in support of the new album, and are set to be joined on a co-headline bill by the gutter sleaze sounds of Faster Pussycat.
Dates for the trek set to be dubbed 'Dias de Los Muerto Tour' are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, along with both the cover art and release information for 10c Billionaire.
Last seen in the UK in September as part of a tour which also feature Pretty Boy Floyd and Britny Fox, and accompanied by “European Bassist” Rob Lane, there is no word as yet as to a potential European leg of the tour, nor to the prospects of a European release for 10c Billioanire.
