The Aftermath Print 

The weekend is over, the stage has been packed, everyones gone home, me as well, and looking back on the last few days it's certainly been a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs... normal festival activity there then!

As you'll have seen in other blog entries, we had loads of fun getting internet access on site, which severely limited what we managed to get done. Oh well, we can't win them all can we?

DJíng o the main stage was loads of fun, having 3000 people drowning out the music you're playing while singing back Twisted Sister's We're Not Gonna Take It or KISS' Crazy Nights is certainly something that is beyond words.

Kriss comented earlier about how good GUN were... She was bang on the nose there. One of the highlights of the whole weekend, let alone the first day. Has to be said that they surprised me with the amount of people that they'd got watching them, and even more the number screaming back to Steal Your Fire and the legendary Word Up.

Saturday Night was all about W.A.S.P. on the main stage followed by Queensryche (who as one of their crew remarked had "everything go haywire" when they kicked off their set forcing a brief restart), both of whom totally ripped HRH apart. Others might disagree about Blackie and W.A.S.P.'s performance, but they were brilliant in my eyes, and I think certainly claim the award for the most anticipated appearance, and the loudest reaction throughout the whole weekend.

We've got loads more stuff coming at you from HRH over the next few days, but I think all here at Komodo Towers are already looking forward to Hammerfest in April, and then heading out to Ibiza in June for the HRH Road Trip!
