 Dream Theater are searching for bands to open for them during their South American Tour, which is set to kick off on March 1st in Santiago Chile. The band have confirmed that a different band will be selected for each of the South American stops on the Chaos In Motion World Tour, and are inviting any band that is interested to apply via email for consideration.
An update from the band states:
Dream Theater is looking for an opening act for their shows in South America.
If you live in or near any of the following cities and are available on
the corresponding dates, you are eligible to be considered!

---- DO NOT EMAIL ANY ATTACHMENTS OR DOWNLOADABLE FILES!!!
---- DO NOT EMAIL personal letters, bios, info or notes for Dream Theater!!!
---- ONLY ONE EMAIL FROM EACH BAND WILL BE ACCEPTED, SO DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE EMAILS!

We will only accept the first 20 entries from each city, so time is of the essence!!!
The chosen winners for each city must agree that by winning this contest:
---- They will be given 30 minutes of stage time before Dream Theater's set
---- A full soundcheck is NOT guaranteed (but DT will do everything in their abilities to provide it)
---- They will be responsible for their own expenses incurred in playing the show
---- They will be responsible for bringing their own crew (details will be sorted out in advance with Dream Theater's crew)
