antiproduct-alexkaneAntiproduct mainman Alex Kane is currently touring with the legendary Marky Ramone, and has checked in from the road with another tour update.

He writes "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuckitty fuck fuck...what a party! Last night we played in Zagareb, Croatia for the first time with Marky (second time for me and Clare, as we came here with the Mighty AntiProduct a few years back) and this time as last, I love it here!

You hear about places and you see shit on TV about places but when you actually go there, then you get to know the place. When AP played Croatia we had about, what?, 150 kids rammed into a stairwell (this was THAT show for all of you long term AP fans) with a makeshift PA, etc, and we had the best time of our lives. Everyone was so into the gig and I remember being picked up by this huge (but everyone is huge compared to me) square jawed kid in a Burzum shit and getting passed around the audience for the last TWO songs.

Fast forward a few years, and we come back to play for 1,000 screaming Ramones, Misfits and AP fans (and actually getting to meet some people for the second time, meaning I now officially have friends in Croatia) and the places just utterly erupts!!!

Everyone's crowd surfing, head banging, singing at the top of their lungs and we just pummel these poor fuckers for an hour and a half, bam bam bam bam...and that's why they came in the first place.

The comments and compliments we're hearing from these shows are simply extraordinary and totally humbling. Shit like, "This is the best show I've ever been to and I went and saw Iron Maiden this year," and "You guys are like a younger heavier version of the Ramones" (don't worry, I think this dude was nuts too. He'd come all the way from Australia to see last night's show so I'm sure he NEEDED to believe we were that good...and we are pretty good and that's already after only four shows.) Another guy at the festival we played in Macedonia the night before to about 6-7,000 screaming lunatics compared us to watching classical music being played at breakneck speed by a herd of charging elephants. Not sure what he meant either but I think he hqad a good time.

There's nothing in the world like seeing one of your heroes right after a gig and him knowing as well as you that you guys kicked ass in the most primal way a musician can: Bam, bam, bam.

Before the third encore, me and Michale, who's fast becoming one of my favorite people (and though he's considered to be a cornerstone in the Conservative Punk movement and I couldn't be more left wing if I had feathers instead of a left hand...we agree on everything but whether or not 911 was an inside job!), we're all gasping and chugging water like it was free money and Marky trots back out on stage like like he just got back from a bathroom break at dinner. HOW THE FUCK DOES HE DO THAT?!?!? How? Like its easy. I guess that's why some people get into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame!

On a personal note, I'd like to thank so many of you for your interest in my skin problem. For those of you who don't know, I was diagnosed with a skin condition earlier this year due to the failure of my liver, kidneys and gall bladder (yea, I know you'd think I should be dead...hey, maybe I am and this is all a dream!) by having overtaxed the living shit out of those poor fuckers. So if I run my immune system down and don't eat and sleep right or get too overheated (all of which is what I do for a living), my skin all but turns into leprosy.
I'm fighting a small outbreak but it seems as though I'm holding up ok and it's not turning into the full scale meat fest from earlier this year.

But no matter what, it won't stop me from giving you 110% every single night we are out there representing for one of the greatest rock 'n' roll bands of all time...THE RAMONES!

Kick it out. Now go buy some AntriProduct merch, you selfish little bastards!"
