The Wildhearts Announce Australian Dates Print E-mail

thewildhearts.jpgUK rock legends The Wildhearts will head to Australia for the first time in their history in November.

The band have announced two shows so far, the first on November 20th in Sydney, before hitting Melbourne the following day.

The band commented "We've waited a long time for this and we're sure its going to be something special!"

The new dates come hot on the heels of both new Spanish tour dates and the announcement of three special Earth Vs Anniversary Concerts which will see the band play the entirety of Earth Vs The Wildhearsts in London, Helsinki and Tokyo, in celebration of the albums 15th Anniversary and a full UK tour scheduled to take place in December.

The band recently announced that The God Damn Whores and The Eureka Machines will be providing support at the bands upcoming 'Earth Vs' London date on September 20th.

The bands full schedule now shapes up as follows:

September:
19 - Tavastia - Helsinki, Finland (Earth Vs Anniversary)
20 - Shepherds Bush Empire - London (Earth Vs Anniversary)

October:
16 - El Sol - Madrid, Spain
17 - Razzmatazz 2 - Barcelona, Spain
18 - Kafe Antzoki - Bilbao, Spain

November:
20 - Gaelic Theater - Sydney, Australia
21 - The Corner Hotel - Melbourne, Australia
23 - Akasaka Blitz - Tokyo, Japan (Earth Vs Anniversary)

December:
3 - Sheffield Academy 1
4 - Glasgow, Barrowlands
5 - Oxford Academy 1
6 - Hard Rock Hell
7 - Manchester Academy 1
8 - Wolverhampton Civic Hall
10 - London Hammersmith Apollo
