The Who - who it had previously been reported would be appearing at the Australian Grand Prix in March next year - have revealed that they will be playing four dates in the country in addition to their performance at the Grand Prix.

The band will kick things off in Brisbane on March 24th, while also playing concerts in Adelaide, Perth and Sydney.

The Who haven't played either Perth or Sydney in 40 years.

Counting Crows are set to provide support to the legendary rockers, with tickets set to go on sale on December 3rd.

March 29, Melbourne, Grand Prix
March 31, Sydney, Acer Arena
April 4, Perth, Members Equity Stadium
