NWOBHM legends the Tygers of Pan Tang are warning fans about inferior quality bootlegs of the bands latest album Animal Instinct which are currently selling on ebay.

The band said "Some of you will have noticed that Animal Instinct is being sold in quantity on eBay at £2.49 + posting, we could not understand the price so we bought one and sure enough the CD is a bootleg from Croatia.

The sound and artwork are of inferior quality and are not helping the band get the right message across. We want you to have the best quality product available from the Tygers and therefore if you have bought one we will swap you a signed copy of the Back & Beyond EP to compensate you for your expense.

We would obviously like to think you would then go to a reputable retailer and buy a genuine copy of Animal Instinct.
