thecure.jpgBillbaord reports that The Cure's 13th studio album has been a long time coming. But after watching several release dates come and go, fans of the Goth godfathers will finally see "4:13 Dream" hit U.S. shelves Oct. 28 via Suretone/Geffen.

Though original planned as a double album (33 songs were recorded during the lengthy studio sessions), only a baker's dozen tracks appear on the finished, mostly poppy product. Here's a track-by-track rundown of what's in store:

1. "Underneath the Stars" (6:17)
An ethereal, slow-burning ballad the band used to open many shows on its spring U.S. tour. Robert's Smith's nearly unintelligible vocals are drowned in echo effects, thickening the song's moody ambiance.

2. "The Only One" (3:57)
This jangly, effervescent pop tune is reminiscent of "Wish"-era Cure and was released as the album's first single back in May. Smith delivers his happiest and most enthusiastic vocals, and mentions the word love 23 times!
