Skid Row's Rachel Bolan Comments on Carrie Underwood Print E-mail

skidrow-rachelbolan.jpgSKID ROW bassist Rachel Bolan has commented on "American Idol" star Carrie Underwood's rendition of the SKID ROW classic "I Remember You", which appears in Underwood's current live set.

He said: "Pretty fuckin' cool.

"A friend called me the other morning (he woke me up) to tell me that he went to see Carrie Underwood play and she busts out 'I Remember You'.

"Pretty fuckin' cool.

"When Snake and I wrote that on my parents' back porch, we never thought in a million years that someone would cover it. Let alone someone mega-popular. Shit, we didn't want it on the album. Yeah, I said it. Album.

"Anyway, a big 'thank you' to Carrie. She did an awesome job."
