The singer's wife Mary Weiland was arrested in March (07) on arson charges after she was spotted burning his clothing outside their California home. She later blamed her behaviour on an imbalance in medications used to treat her bipolar disorder.

However, the Velvet Revolver frontman claims their home life is actually just like that of the All-American Cleaver family in '50s sitcom Leave It To Beaver.

He says, "There's definitely a Cleaver sense about our household. "We get our kids to bed at 8pm. We tuck them in. We lay down with them at night. There are three square meals - the whole shebang." (GES/WNWCPL/MT)
