According to Thainindian, golf legend Nick Faldo, who is also the captain of the European team, has included Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain as part of his backroom staff to prepare for battle against the Americans in Kentucky later this year.

Thesun.co.uk reports that Faldo told BBC commentator Gary Linekar that he had signed up the drummer to help out. He didn’t discuss in exactly what capacity the drummer would help.

The European golfers including Colin Montgomerie will take on the US team in Kentucky to compete in the prestigious Ryder Cup.
