With an average age of just 16 years old, Middle Finger Salute have already built up an impressive fanbase and gigging history, sharing stages with bands such as Buzzcocks, Towers of London, Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, Red Light Rippers, Anti Nowhere League, Subhumans and The Vibrators amongst others both in the UK and abroad.
Formed three years ago in their hometown of Blackburn, Middle Finger Salute have successfully harnessed their passion for music, attitude and exceptional talent and have created a punk sound "so raw, robust and ready for action that it gets even the most discerning music follower's boots a-stomping."
Spirited and confident with stage presence a-plenty and an infectiously cheeky grin, lead singer Calum "effortlessly captures the attention of any crowd and the band's scream-along melodic choruses and angry youth-relevant lyrics never fail to strike a chord with any revolutionary spirit."
Having already proven that they aren't afraid of hard work, they have gained an excellent reputation both locally and nationally as well as the respect of the bands they have grown up listening to.
'We play the music we wanna play, hopefully without just sounding like the music we listen to' enthuses guitarist Danny.
Their newly recorded tracks, which the band are currently seeking a suitable label to release them on, reflect their energetic, passionate and powerful live performance and prove that these four truly unstoppable young punks are destined for bigger things.
Just a couple o' wild punks….out raising hell….and this is only the beginning.
