Metallica have announced that they will be making two TV appearances in the coming weeks, the first in America on the Independent Film Channel, while the second will take place in France on Taratata.

The band commented "For our friends in the States, check out the "The Independent Film Channel (IFC)" on Tuesday, October 7 at 9:45pm EST for our appearance on "Automat." The music portion of that evening will feature behind the scenes info on the making of "The Day That Never Comes" video, and exclusive interview footage with Lars discussing it.
