 Metallica premiered a track from their upcoming album 'Death Magenetic' for the first time on Saturday Night (August 9th) at Ozzfest where the band were performing a headline set. It's the first time the band have played any material from 'Death Magenetic' Live.

In other news, Metallica have announced that they are heading out on a US arena
tour in support of the bands upcoming album 'Death Magenetic' which
will be released Worldwide on September 12th.
The bands tour - which will see them accompanied by Down and The
Sword - kicks off on October 21st in Glendale Arizona, with dates
released into January where the current dates conclude on the 31st in
Newark New Jersey.
More dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The band said "Time for a different sort of vacation ... one right here on our home
turf!! Now that Death Magnetic is complete, we're ready to start a
proper indoor arena tour of the States and Canada and we can't wait to
visit all of our 'Talli-fans here . . . it really has been too long
(hey, what's four years amongst friends?)."
