Bassplayer Joacim Sandin has announced that he is to part ways with Steevi Jaimz Band to concentrate fully on his other project, Bai Bang.
He noted that "I Have Decided To Leave The Steevi Jaimz Band to focus 100% with Bai Bang."
There is no bad blood apparently, and he has wished his former band mates the best for the future.
"I wish Steevi, Danny and Andi the best of luck in the future, I love you guys. I wanna thank all of you who have helped the band and helped us at our gigs. Ian, Pet, GlammyDave, Ashley and the rest of you."
As previously reported, former drummer Ace Finchum also left the band recently, and has joined the Gypsy Pistoleros.
Finchum had been a member of the Welsh glam legends Tigertailz, both
with original singer Steevi Jaimz and continuing with the band
following Jaimz's departure and the recruiting of Kim Hooker, playing
on both Young and Crazy and the classic Berzerk albums.
Finchum was also part of Jaimz's reuninted incarnation of the band
which last year lost the rights to tour under the Tigertailz name.
Shortly afterwards it was announced that he had left the now renamed
Steevi Jaimz Band.
Leeroy had departed the band just prior to the announcement that they
had signed a deal with Blastzone Entertainment for the US distribution
of their album Para Siempre which is set for release in July via
Nightmare Records.
The band have also announced that a limited run of 500 copies of the
album will be released on Red Vinyl to coincide with the albums US
release.
The Pistoleros are scheduled to start a US tour in June, which will run
until the 9th August, and include a headline performance at this years
Rocklahoma Festival.
