 Greek metal sensation, FIREWIND, who are just about to kick off their UK headlining tour this month and then follow it up with an extensive European headlining tour in November, have just premiered their brand-new video clip "Head Up High".
The song comes off the band's critically acclaimed new album "The Premonition" and you can watch it below now.
Furthermore, FIREWIND's Bob Katsionis (guitars, keyboards) recently recorded an instructional lesson that can now be viewed on the band's official YouTube page www.youtube.com/firetv. Stay tuned for new episodes featuring vocal lessons from Apollo, drum lessons from Mark and additional Gus G. clips, which should be posted over the next couple of weeks. Katsionis comments:
"In this series of lessons, I will show and explain some of my keyboard solos and parts out of The Premonition album, as well as present some of my simultaneous keyboard and guitar performances. This first video lesson contains stuff from the songs 'Into The Fire', 'Angels Forgive Me' and some lead keyboard licks."
Checking in from one of the band's rare quiet moments at home, guitarist Gus G. comments about the upcoming tour activity:
"After a long hot summer and after playing killer shows @ some of the best / biggest European festivals, we're finally ready for our UK headline tour and also our first European headline tour.
While this will be the 2nd time we'll be headlining in the UK, it's really the first extensive tour that will even get us to Ireland but also get to hit other markets in the UK. The excitement is building up more and more as the time approaches!
As for the European tour in November, it's definitely a moment both us and our fans have been waiting for. Finally we have the chance to present a full FIREWIND show to our fans with a setlist that will cover fan-favourite songs for all our 5 studio albums and new additions with songs that were never played live before!
In addition, we have some cool bands with us on board. Kiuas - a new great band hailing from Finland will support us on all shows. We also present you some very special guests, different on each country! Bands like Stormwarrior, Adagio, Vicious Rumors and Eldritch will be with us - each on different territory. It only makes this tour more special! Come and witness the Fire and the Fury this Autumn! See you out there!"
