Eyes Set to
Kill's Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez grace the pages of this
month's issue of Revolver featuring Slipknot on the cover for a
steamy photo shoot as the "Hottest Chicks In Metal" with
outtakes from the photo shoot available at www.revolvermag.com/content/hottest-chicks-metal-2
"Alexia and I were so excited when we found out we were chosen to
do Hottest Chicks of Metal feature for this month's Revolver issue,"
says Eyes Set to Kill's Anissa Rodriguez. "It was a lot of fun hanging out
with my sister, getting all dolled up and being photographed with each
other. It was an awesome experience. Hopefully our fans will check out the
pictures in the new issue and some people who have never heard us before
will check out our music after reading the mag."
"Doing this photo shoot for Revolver was a really fun experience
and an even greater opportunity for us to reach a whole new audience,"
commented Alexia Rodriguez. "We've put tons of hard work into making our
band what it is today, so it feels good to be recognized by one of the
biggest magazines for hard music."
Eyes Set to Kill recently debuted the group's new music
video for "Darling" online at http://vimeo.com/1787210?pg=embed&sec=1787210. The track is taken from Eyes Set To Kill's explosive debut
album "Reach", which debuted at #29 on Billboard's Heatseekers Charts
and #77 on Billboard's Independent Music charts. The album has earned
them significant critical acclaim, while band's jaw dropping live
show made them the buzz band opening for Otep, In This Moment The Devil
Wears Prada and The Human Abstract.
Formed in 2004 by sisters Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez, Eyes Set to
Kill have exploded to become one of the scenes hottest bands over the past
three and a half years. During that time, Eyes Set to Kill have sold
more than 11,000 copies of their independently released EP, "When
Silence is Broken The Night Is Torn" and both of which were top
selling releases on popular online retailer SmartPunk.com. The
group's strong online presence helped them become MySpace's
number one unsigned band for more than ten months, and landing in the top
ten of all independent bands.
Eyes Set To Kill will embark on the Malus Clothing sponsored One
Moment Tour featuring Before Their Eyes, LoveHateHero, A Kiss For Jersey,
Oceana and Ice Nine Kills throughout the month of October and November.
