 GLOBAL MUSIC has announced the signing of DEAR SUPERSTAR to their DEMOLITION imprint label, DR2.
Since their debauched conception in 2004, DEAR SUPERSTAR have been provoking titanic waves on the live scene with their heart stopping shows, infectious hooks and never surrender attitude. I guess you could call them Rude, Tattooed, Straight Talking, Port Drinking Rock Stars!
DEAR SUPERSTAR is Micky Satiar, Smeth, The Minge, Milton Gunns and Amadeus; five skilful rockers who party hard and rock even harder as they prove at every show they play. In 2006, the band recorded their self produced debut album (Confessions of a Twisted Mind) released in September to heroic acclaim from many major UK magazines including the likes of CLASSIC ROCK, METAL HAMMER, ROCK SOUND and many more…
After a bright start to their career the band headed out on the road in 2007 with 2 tours of Scandinavia as well as conquering the UK with the likes of The Blackout, Mendeed and Pitchshifter. Now in 2008 DEAR SUPERSTAR have recorded their new full length album "HEARTLESS" with ROMESH DODANGODA (Funeral For A Friend, Bullet for my Valentine, Lost Prophets, Kids in Glass Houses) at Longwave Recording Studio, Cardiff and even seduced BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE into lending their vocals to the metal influenced masterpiece LIVE.LOVE.LIE, the bands first single taken from ‘HEARTLESS’ due for release in late summer 2008.
Charismatic front man MICKY SATIAR added: “Signing to Demolition/DR2 Records is a dream come true! DEAR SUPERSTAR is our life and we're psyched to have inked a deal with a label we trust and respect.
