Crystal Castles Announce Glasgow In Store Appearance |

Currently in the midst of headlining NME’s sold out New Noise tour in support of their acclaimed debut album, Crystal Castles, the genre blurring boy-girl duo from Toronto, Canada will be playing an all ages instore gig at Glasgow’s Avalanche Records this Saturday at 5pm.
They recently graced the cover of NME’s ‘Future 50 Issue’ which unveiled their pick of bands, artists and innovators who are driving music forward in 2008. Their recently released debut album has already been called ‘a defining album of 2008’ by Rough Trade shop, ‘an amazing piece of modern electronica’ by Dazed & Confused whilst ID magazine said it is ‘awe inspiring’. NME simply claimed that ‘you’ll hear nothing better this year’.
The summer will see them appear at a string of festivals including Glastonbury, Great Escape, Latitude, Reading / Leeds and Bestival.
