Aerosmith will head back to the studio to work on a new album before the end of the month a posting on the bands official fan club website AeroForceOne has confirmed.

Frontman Steven Tyler gave a few hints about what the new album is going to sound like. He said “Just your usual Aerosmith, you can’t tame it, rocking out, in your face music.”

Tyler also revealed that once the album is complete, the band will head back out on the road starting in either March or April 2009.

“The tour is booked for March or April, I believe it starts, and then we eat the States although I think there are some outside gigs but not as much as last year when we did Dubai and India and wound up in Russia.”
