London based rockers Praying Mantis have a long and storied which stretches back to the mid 1970's when brothers Tino and Chris Troy founded the band and in the process becoming one of the early members of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement, which also featured bands like the Tygers Of Pan Tang, with whom they shared a stage with at this years Hard Rock Hell Festival in Prestatyn North Wales.

In fact, Praying Mantis hit the stage directly before the Tygers, and live photos from the bands set can be viewed below.
