 FOLLOWING THEIR headline tour of the UK in October/November 2009, Taiwan’s premier metal outfit Chthonic will be making further live appearances in April of this year, when they take their place on a four-band bill headlined by Swedish/German melodic death metallers, Arch Enemy.

Live footage of Finland’s up-and-coming prog/death supergroup, Barren Earth, has surfaced online, thanks to a fan at the Helsinki Metal Meeting last month. A live video of the band performing the song, “Flicker”, from their forthcoming debut full-length record, Curse of the Red River, can be seen below along with the track “Jewel” from the 2009 debut EP, ‘Our Twilight’.

Glam, the lead singer for the Norwegian rock band Wig Wam, will be the special guest on Hard Rock Nights March 5-11. The singer will share details about the formation of the band several years ago, recording a cover version of former Spice Girls member Mel C.’s “I Turn To You,” and the band’s current release, “Non Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll.”
